Hi there and welcome to my little library on the internet. My name is Lou, I’m 26 years old, from Germany (though mentally very much living in Scotland), and I like to go to concerts, have movie nights with friends and travel. I love all things peanut butter, would like to be Donna in Mamma Mia (although, let’s be honest, I’m more like the friend played by Julie Walters) and like to bake, although I’m no good at it. Mainly, I’m a bit obsessed with books and reading, though.

I tend to read mostly contemporary fiction, although I also enjoy non-fiction (particularly autobiographies), fantasy, young adult, poetry (a recent one for me!), and classics. Basically, just don’t come at me with horror or magical realism and we should be fine.

I know it’s 2024 and people have mostly moved on from reading blogs, but I still enjoy them and want a place I can write about books in more depth than Instagram allows. And if anyone else happens to find it interesting, then that’s even better.
